Q: Can the EMC-14 be used with my semi-closed circuit rebreather?
A: Yes, semi-closed circuit rebreathers use a constant FO2 Nitrox blend, again if you only dive one mix per dive, the single gas-FO2 configuration is for you.
Q: Which mounting method is right for you?
A: Again as with color, it is a matter of diver preference.
- If your a "reach under the rocks and in hole" type you will probably not want a wrist mounted unit.
- If you like a redundant SPG, you may want the Hose Mount version.
- If keeping thinks streamlined is your aim, then one of the Retractor mounted versions need consideration.
Q: How much memory do I need?
A: While the EMC-14 has the capability of storing dive profiles for a maximum of 180 dive hours. Some divers who regularly use our Analyst® PC software may not want as much. However, there is a certain comfort knowing that your dive computer is retaining ALL of your dives.
